WINDSTAR CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

Among the core values of Windstar is “Stewardship of the Surrounding Community."  In support of that value we are proud to present fun and friendship to raise money to help charities and at risk children in our Bayshore community. 

The Windstar Club Charitable Foundation, Inc. (WCCF) welcomes all Windstar on Naples Bay Members. Since the first WGB Event in 2008, Windstar Members have generously donated more than one million dollars to charities that help support at risk children and families in the Bayshore Community.

Windstar Members donate to the WCCF and then participate in Windstar Gives Back Events. Windstar Gives Back is a three-day event that takes place in November. Events include golf, an auction, tennis, fishing, a BBQ, breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. This year we will be adding a Windstar Gives Back Wine Dinner with a delicious menu and hand-picked wine choices to accompany each course. This dinner promises to be a fabulous addition to our events and fundraising. 

Club Members may submit the names of charities that they would llike to sponsor. The charities are then visited and vetted by the WCCF Board of Directors to make sure they meet our strict guidelines. The Boys and Girls Club of Collier County, The Shelter for Abused Women and Children, The Literacy Volunteers of Collier County, The Harry Chapin Food Bank, Meals of Hope, and Books for Kids are examples of the charities that we have sponsored. We are proud to be apart of a community where folks offer monetary donations, physical donations of goods and services to our auction, and their time and unique skill sets to make our fundraising a success.
